Back in 2009 when I started Intern Queen it was just me running the company from my studio apartment.I remember I would get up and sit at my coffee table with my computer and work from there (occasionally I would go to my local Coffee Bean and sit there all day too).

At Intern Queen, we do performance reviews every 3 months (quarterly). We do this so there’s an on-going dialogue about everyone’s performance and to ensure that the goals of that role are being met. It’s also important that I understand the obstacles every team member deals with trying to get their job done.
